My Best Production Yet!
Last time it took me this long to submit an entry a dastardly family of raccoons kept terrorizing my back yard and prevented me from sleeping…let alone writing. The most recent excuse for being in absentia presents certain similarities: very cute, very hungry and also keeps me up at night.I’m happy to report I’m a brand new dad. Not sure how the child feels about that!?
I’ve discovered several things since becoming a father and the time leading up to it. Everybody has advice and suggestions. If I had a dollar for every time someone said “it’s gonna change your life” I’d have my child’s education fund locked up. Well, it certainly has changed my life and I was happy for the change with this little source of joy.

If you’re in the market for voice over involving crying, gurgling and short bursts of screaming I’m no longer taking on those jobs personally.
I’m grooming her for some freelance work behind the microphone. So far her response has been in the form of various bodily sounds!

Assisting God in the miracle, and making it seem easy, was the incredible and beautiful Marlene Schmidt. Witness, eager support and
creative collaborator was proud father Rory O’Shea with blessings from Cormac above, nanas Peggy and Jessie and grandpa Eric here on earth; with plenty of aunts, uncles and cousins to share in the joy. Our wee gal checked into l’hotel monde nouveau at 7 lbs., 15 oz. Undying gratitude to Dr. Bernstein and the phenomenal crew at Mt. Sinai. Love to Marlene and Teaghan from Ror /daddy. Here comes life, part II girls!
